Major supermarket chain Lidl procured over €40 million worth of goods and services from 25 suppliers and business partners across Donegal in 2024, according to a new report.

The findings were unveiled in the ‘’Economic Contribution of Lidl in the Republic of Ireland’ report, which coincided with 25 years of Lidl operating in Ireland.

Lidl Ireland first opened its doors in 2000, launching stores in Letterkenny, amongst other towns in Ireland. The report revealed the extent of Lidl Ireland’s growth since 2000.
