A serious road traffic collision has led to the closure of a main road in Inishowen.
The emergency services, including multiple ambulances, the fire service and a Coast Guard helicopter, have attended the scene of the incident in the townland of Carrowmore, Carndonagh.
Gardai have said the main R240 road is closed due to the crash and will remain closed overnight.
Diversions are in place. Motorists are advised to take an alternative route, if possible.
