Donegal County Council has granted planning permission for 21 homes in the northern suburbs of Letterkenny.
Permission was granted to the applicant, Glenview Homes Ltd, for the construction of the residential site in Ballaghderg, Letterkenny.
Plans include the construction of a housing development comprising 21 detached residential dwellings, the development of an internal access roadway, pedestrian footpaths, open spaces, and boundary treatments, as well as connections to all main services and associated site development works.

Planning permission was granted by Donegal County Council with 26 conditions. Conditions included a paid contribution by the applicant to the Planning Authority of €42,518.91, in respect of public infrastructure and facilities benefitting development in the area of the Planning Authority that is already provided or is intended will be provided by the Authority.
Furthermore, a condition has been set that before the development commences, the developer shall provide adequate security, either by bond, a cash deposit, or any other security as the council may approve, in the sum of €105,000 for the provision and completion of all services required by the development, including roads, sewers, water supply, footpaths, public lighting, open spaces, and other services.
