What you can do in Donegal during National Heritage Week on Monday August 18

Bee ID at Bundoran Community Centre

Bundoran Community Centre is hosting a workshop on Bee ID - Learning to Recognise of Native Pollinators.

Donegal County Council and Stuart Dunlop are putting on a Tea and Talk event, to learn more about pollinators, and how to ID bumblebees and hoverflies, followed by an ID walk around Bundoran.

This event is part of the 'Putting Donegal Biodiversity on the Map' project, funded by Donegal County Council and the NPWS, through the Local Biodiversity Action Fund, supported through the Heritage Council's Local Authority Biodiversity Officer Programme.

All adults and children over 12 years of age with an interest in ecologywould be suitable to take part in this programme

The event is open from 11am until 1.30pm
