Site of Ballintra Holiday Village
C&C Property Investment Ltd has received planning permission from Donegal County Council for the extension of the existing commercial holiday village in Ballintra.
The commercial holiday village, situated between Lower Main Street and the L2255 Rossnowlagh Road, will see the erection of two new dwellings with connection to existing services and all associated works.
Currently, the commercial holiday village comprises 10 dwellings, with the planning permission granted under appeal by An Bord Pleanála in April 2024.

Within the planner's report for the holiday village extension, it was noted that the applicant had not yet complied with a condition requiring the submission from the applicant to the planning authority for a written agreement, a management plan for this holiday village, which shall set out the obligations upon visitors who short-term let.
Donegal County Council granted planning permission for the extension of the commercial holiday village in Ballintra with 18 conditions, including a condition that the applicant contribute €18,480.57 as payment in respect of public infrastructure and facilities benefiting development in the area of the Planning Authority that is already provided or is intended will be provided by the Authority.
