Fire brigade attend scene in Bundoran after vehicles set on fire

The fire brigade had to be called to Bundoran after a parked van and a car were set on fire in an incident of criminal damage in the early hours of Thursday, October 23.

A third vehicle that was parked close by at Church Road, Bundoran, was also damaged as a result of the heat in an incident in which nobody was hurt.

The fire brigade attended the scene and extinguished the fires.

Gardaí have issued an appeal for the assistance of the public in relation to the incident, with a statement that read: “We appeal to anyone who may have travelled in that area with a dash-cam between midnight and 1.30am, to make the footage available to us.

“If anyone can assist our investigation with relevant information, they are asked to contact Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071 9858530 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
