Donna Griffin and Laura Cassidy collects key for new respite vehicle
Donegal Town’s Bluestack Foundation has received keys to a new bus to help provide services to users across the county.
The Chief Executive Officer, Laura Cassidy, and Outreach Coordinator, Donna Griffin, received the keys to the Toyota vehicle from Kellys Sales and Service in Mountcharles.
Griffin told Donegal Live: “We want to give thanks to the HSE because it was them that provided us with the funds to get the bus.
“The children it will provide the service for are respite children, children referred to us by the HSE. That is what we got the money for the bus for.

“There is respite in Donegal Town, Letterkenny, a new one open in Dungloe next week and Ballybofey to follow.”
The Bluestack Foundation was established nearly two decades ago to provide direct support to people with additional needs themselves and direct support to family and carers.
Over 90 volunteers contribute their time to the foundation alongside 45 full or part-time staff, serving over 400 members throughout Donegal, thanks to their expansion and outreach programme.
