Donegal County Library Service launches new programme
The Donegal County Library Service said they were thrilled to launch the Family Time at Your Library programme, designed to engage families to partake in reading and storytelling during the festive season in December.
Throughout December, Donegal libraries will offer a wide range of free family-oriented events and activities, such as storytelling sessions, LEGO challenges, painting and craft, sing-alongs, Christmas card making, comic workshops and reading corners.

A statement from the Donegal County Library Service read: “These engaging events aim to foster a lifelong love of reading, while supporting Ireland’s Right to Read programme, and highlighting the importance of family involvement in children's reading experiences.
“Donegal Libraries offer a vast selection of Christmas books for both adults and children, plus there are no longer any fines! The Family Time at Your Library events create a supportive environment for children to experience the joy of reading, both at the library and at home.”
