Dangerous driving investigated in Stranorlar as appeal made for dash-cam footage

Gardaí are investigating incidents of dangerous driving in Stranorlar and are appealing for dash-cam footage from motorists in the area at the time. 

The Letterkenny Roads Policing Unit are looking into an incident that occurred on Sunday, December 21, in the Stranorlar area, involving a red VW Jetta, and is seeking dash-cam footage from motorists who may have travelled between Lifford and Stranorlar on that date between 8pm and 9pm.

Gardaí are also asking motorists with a dash-cam, who travelled in the area of The Glebe, Stranorlar, on that date between 8.15pm and 8.30pm to also get in touch with them.

A Gardaí statement read: “The Roads Policing Unit in Letterkenny may be contacted on 074 9167100.

“Any relevant information may alternatively be passed on to Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071 9858530.”
