Gardaí appeal issued after pre-Christmas car theft in Letterkenny

A Gardaí investigation is ongoing after a Peugeot vehicle was stolen in Letterkenny just two days prior to Christmas.

The car in question was a black Peugeot 5008, with a registration number of ‘11 KE 7800,’ and has yet to be recovered.

Gardaí said the theft took place at Knocknamona Park, Letterkenny, on Tuesday, December 23, between  9am and 8pm.

A Gardaí statement read: “We appeal to anyone who may have travelled in that area with a dash-cam between those times to make the footage available to us.

“The car has not yet been recovered, and we appeal to the public to contact Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100 if they have any information in relation to the incident or in relation to the current whereabouts of the car.”
