Donegal’s Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh will appear on The Late Late Show Trad Special, as it celebrates the very best of traditional Irish music with its first-ever special dedicated entirely to the tradition.
Broadcast tonight on RTÉ One at 9.35pm and hosted by Patrick Kielty, Mairéad, a talented fiddler born and raised in the heartland of Gaoth Dobhair Gaeltacht, joins a stellar guestlist.

The Altan band member will be on the show, which also features American folk singer, Peggy Seeger, actor Ricky Tomlinson, Lisa Canny of Biird, Kevin Conneff of The Chieftains, and Japanese Irish trad musician, Kozo Toyota.
