Proposed site off the Forest Park estate in Killygordon
Planning permission has been sought from Donegal County Council for a childcare facility in Killygordon.
Aurora McAlynn, on behalf of Aurora’s Hobbits Ltd, is the listed applicant for the proposals, and is applying for the development of a childcare facility comprising facilities for creche and preschool children at all stages, and after-school care.
The location of the proposed Killygordon childcare facility is off the N15, to the rear of the Forest Park estate.
Included in the application is the construction of a two-storey building, car parking, enclosed play area, natural-wooded play area and an access road.

Temporary permission is also being sought for the placement of a prefabricated building for the provision of childcare services for a period of five years.
All associated site development works, extensions to the existing road network within the Forest Park estate, and connections to existing services are included in the application.
Donegal County Council has set a decision due date for the submitted application for April 12.
