Simple Simons to host film evening for charitable aid
Simple Simon’s of Donegal Town are holding a charity film screening in aid of the MATW Limbs of Hope Project for Palestinians.
The film being broadcast on Friday, February 20, is Palestine 36, a 2025 historical drama that recounts the 1936-1939 Arab Revolt against British colonial rule in Palestine. The film premiered at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival.
MATW’s Limbs of Hope Project provides prosthetic limb support to Palestinians who have become amputees.
An online statement by Simple Simon’s reads: “Join us for a special screening of Palestine 36 in aid of the (MATW) Limbs of Hope Project.

“All proceeds go towards providing prosthetic limbs to amputees.
“Come along for an evening of film and solidarity, and help support an important cause.

Doors open at Simple Simon’s at 6.45pm, with the film starting at 7pm. Tickets at the door can be purchased for €10.
