Latest Central Statistics Office (CSO) figures released on February 18 show that the total number of individuals who received probation orders fell by 43% from 2018 to 2021 in Donegal.

The total number of Donegal individuals who received probation orders in Donegal in 2021 was 89, compared to 156 in 2018, 137 in 2019, and 108 in 2020.

Figures in Donegal didn’t correlate with the national trends, as nationally, the number of individuals who received probation orders rose by 20.5%, with 3,478 in 2020, to 4,190 in 2021.
