Burlgary attempt occurred in Donegal Town
Two men were involved in a burglary in Donegal Town this weekend after being dropped off by a car that pulled up close to the house in question.
The incident occurred at a house situated on the Ballybofey Road, Drumlonagher, Donegal Town, on Saturday, February 21, between 5.50pm and 6.05pm.
Gardaí said a black car, possibly an Audi A3 or Volkswagen Golf, pulled in at a house in the area, and was immediately driven away when two men exited the car.
The men went to the rear of the house and started to look in the windows. One of the men then entered the porch via an unlocked door. Both men took off on foot upon being disturbed. Nothing was stolen from the property.

An appeal by Gardaí read: “We appeal to anybody who may have travelled along that busy stretch of road between Drumlonagher roundabout and Donegal Town or the surrounding areas with a dash-cam between 5.30pm and 6.30pm on that date, to make the footage available to Gardaí.
“Gardaí in Ballyshannon may be contacted on 071-9858530 in connection with the incident.”
