No one wants us say voters in south Donegal

Voters in the part of Donegal which is now included with Sligo, Leitrim and part of Cavan are showing little or nor interest in the election.

In tomorrow's Donegal Democrat/Donegal People's Press we report that candidates are experiencing a huge level of apathy throughout the Bundoran, Ballyshannon and Ballintra areas. People feel very left out and many are seething.

'They don't want us in Donegal. They don’t want us in Sligo, why should we bother?” candidates are being told.

Ther e is also huge resentment on the door steps and all parties have confirmed the sense of anger and apathy.
