Commercial bins stolen from Castlefin business in overnight theft

Commercial and domestic bins have been stolen from business premises in Castlefin

A quartet of bins were stolen from a Castlefin business premises in a late-night theft incident.

The incident occurred on the Urney Road, Cloughfin, Castlefin, in the early hours of Friday, February 27, at 0.35am.

A large silver/grey van with a roof rack entered the car park of the business premises, and three black commercial bins and one black domestic bin were stolen from the property.

Gardaí released a statement which read: “We appeal to anyone who may have travelled between the N15 road and Clady, or between Lifford and Castlefin between midnight and 1am that morning with a dashcam, to make the footage available to Gardaí.

“Any relevant information or details of sightings of the van in question may be passed on to Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071-9858530 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.”
