There was an excellent atmosphere at McDonald’s in Letterkenny at the weekend as people got on their bike in aid of a well deserved charity.
On Saturday, people from across the country joined in a cycle to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House.
However, Victor Byrne and his staff ensured that people who couldn’t travel down the country could hop on a bike in their Letterkenny establishment in aid the much loved charity. Other stores throughout the country also hosted a charity event.
Mayor Gerry McMonagle was present at the event which was very much enjoyed by everyone, especially the children who had their faces painted. Many of those who used the services of the Ronald McDonald House attended the charity event. Some got on the instore bike and made a donation towards the leading charity which helps children who are in hospital.
