A good week for Donegal town

Good news on various fronts for one town

A good week for Donegal town

The last week has been a great one for Donegal Town with numerous positive announcements which will greatly enhance the town and more importantly create more sustainable employment.

Planning was lodged for a retail park on the Killybegs roads, another factory had been given the ok to double it’s size and Eamonn Gillespie of the Central Hotel announced considerable investment in the Central Hotel.

However, the venture that generated the most interest on our social media and print platforms was the opening of Tots and Tassels on the Diamond. There is no doubt that anything related to children tops the popularity stakes.

This shop is just a treasure trove. Full credit must go to all the entrepreneurs involved - they have worked hard to difficult times and managed to increase both turnover and employment. These are the people that will make Donegal work.

Our photograph shows: Keith Anderson welcomes Deirdre Kennedy of Tots and Tassels to her new premises on the Diamond in Donegal Town.
