A call  has been made for an emergency meeting of Donegal County Council amid criticism of how the council has handled the Mica issue which has been found to have affected hundreds of homes in the county.  

Cllr. Albert Doherty has requested the meeting following the broadcast of the RTÉ Prime Time programme on Tuesday night as he and the Mica Action Group (Mag) expressed anger at what they see as an inadequate response by Donegal County Council to the issue.
