After a fine few days of sunshine in Donegal, this weekend’s forecast looks more like a typical Irish summer.
Temperatures averaged 27 degrees at the beginning of the week and peaked at 30 degrees in parts of Donegal on Tuesday. However, forecasters are predicting a cooler weekend, with a mixture of sunshine and scattered showers expected in the coming days.
Tomorrow sees temperatures of 17 to 20 degrees across the county, with a chance of rain earlier in the day before clouds clear for a brighter evening.
If you were planning a barbecue or a trip to the seaside this weekend then all hope is not lost. While forecasters predict a couple of showers on Saturday and Sunday, temperatures are expected to remain pleasant with highs of 18 degrees expected on both days.
