Chloe Magee loses out in first game at Olympics

Chloe Magee was out of luck in her opening game in the Rio Olympics, losing out to the highly rated Chinese Wang Yihan.

Yihan took the first set 21-7. Chloe put up a great fight in the second set but lost out 21-12.

Chloe is in a group of three along with Yihan and Karin Schnasse from Germany.

The Magee/Schnasse match is on tomorrow Saturday at 1.05 pm with Schnasse and Yinhan going head to head on Sunday at 7.30 pm. Just one qualifies from the group.

Chloe is appearing in her third Olympics, having represented Ireland in Beijing and London.
