Bundoran air hostess Niamh marries pilot in local 'wedding of the year'

Niamh Ruane and her husband Khalil Ibrahim, who hails from Dubai.

A marriage very definitely made in the heavens was greeted by warm sunsine and cloudless skies as guests from many corners of the world joined to celebrate with Donegal town’s Niamh Ruane and her husband Khalil Ibrahim, who hails from Dubai.

Khali, a pilot with Ethiad Airways and Niamh, a first class cabin hostess with the airline, met soon after Niamh moved to Abu Dhabi. Niamh is a daughter of Adrian and Mary Ruane from Donegal Town and a grandaughter of Brian and Cautie McEniff from Bundoran.

The celebrations took place in Bundoran’s Great Northern Hotel and included many of the couple’s friends from home and abroad.
