Better signs and road markings are needed at Shannon's Corner in Ballyshannon, Cllr Barry O'Neill has said.
The Fine Gael councillor (pictured) raised the issue at this month's meeting of DCC's Donegal Municipal District in Drumlonagher.
He said: "This junction needs to be addressed with immediate improvements and signage replacement."
He pointed out that people using the roads, especially visitors to the area, are often confused when approaching the three-way junction.
"We've had several deputations about this,” he commented.
Mark Sweeney, DCC area manager of Roads and Transportation, replied, "The Council will undertake the lining works as soon as we can arrange for a lining contractor to carry out the works. We will also access the current condition of the road signage and replace where necessary."
