Getting into the festive spirit in Letterkenny
There was plenty of family fun in the centre of Letterkenny on Saturday with Hallowe’en entertainment provided by Letterkenny Chamber.
There was a trick and treat trail round the main street area which had support from around 25 shops.
That was followed by a parade involving the Letterkenny Pipe Band and staff from Pinehill Studios which went from McGettigan's Hotel to the Courtyard Shopping Centre.
In the shopping centre itself there was scary games and a scream room as well as a fancy dress competition.
The Halloween entertainment has been run by Letterkenny Chamber in the town centre for five years now.
“The numbers were very good this year and we had lots of families joining in and enjoying the day,” Chamber CEO Toni Forrester said.
“The numbers were very good, with lots of families out dressed up and enjoying the day. Families enjoy the day, it is good fun and it creates a great buzz in the town centre,” she said.
