Cloudy and breezy this morning with scattered outbreaks of rain. Met Éireann forecast that he rain will give way to scattered showers during the afternoon and bright or sunny spells will develop. Few of the showers may be heavy. Highs of 11 to 14 Celsius generally in fresh, locally strong and, gusty southeast winds but a little cooler near the east coast.
Further showers or longer spells of rain for a time tonight. The rain will clear northwards before morning and breaks will develop in the cloud. Lows of 6 to 8 Celsius. Moderate to fresh and gusty southeast winds will veer south to southwest overnight.
Dry and bright on Monday morning with sunny spells. Cloud will increase from the west bringing scattered outbreaks of rain to most parts during the afternoon and the remaining parts by nightfall. The rain will be heavy and persistent at times in the west. Highs of 11 to 13 Celsius. It will become windy as southerly winds back southeast and increase strong and gusty with very strong winds developing near some coasts during the afternoon.
