Council vow to spend a penny on Dungloe toilets

Councillor Marie Therese Gallagher has asked that Donegal County Council officials give her a guarantee on when the toilets at Dungloe will be open.
She said she was given approval two years ago but is, as yet, they are waiting for the work to be carried out.

Cllr Enda Bonner echoed her sentiments adding that the town of Dungloe will stage to major parades throughout the year and also hosts the International Mary from Dungloe Festival.
Ms Gallagher said that she could not leave the meeting on Tuesday without a definite date for when the toilets would be opened. She added that there is a piece of ground beside the toilets that also needs to be tidied up.
Ms Gallagher was told that the work on the toilets would be completed by Easter.
