A suspected burglary took place in St Johnston last Saturday, March 23.
The door of a residence in Ardagh was damaged and entry gained. A number of items was stolen which included a small sum of cash.
Speaking on the 'Nine til Noon' show, Garda Grainne Doherty, said: "The most expensive item that was stolen was a jeep that was at the side of the property."
They stole the key to the jeep from within the residence and took the jeep with them.
The jeep was a white Toyota Hilux with the registration plate 162 DL 1351.
Anyone with any information is asked to call gardaí.
Damage was done to a door and a lock in an apartment in an attempted break-in at Larkin's Lane in Letterkenny on Sunday morning, March 24.
The lady of the residence told gardaí that the key which had been on the inside of the door had been found lying on the mat on Sunday morning.
The incident took place at the Isleway house apartments.
The incident took place between 3am and 10am.
Gardaí in Letterkenny are eager to hear from members of the public who may have seen any suspicious activity or vehicles in the area.

Muff and the Port Road
A burglarly also took place at the 'Tree House bar and restaurant' in Muff on March 22.
In the early hours of Friday morning, two men gained entry to an apartment on Port Road, Letterkenny.
A number of items were stolen and the thieves made good their escape heading towards the top of the town.
