Workshop on how to improve mental health coming to Killybegs

A Wellness Workshop is being held on Friday, September 20 in the Niall Mór Community & Enterprise Centre, Killybegs in partnership with Connect Mental Health.
A Wellness Workshop is aimed at allowing people taking time out to learn a wide range of practical tools and tips that they can use in your everyday life to improve wellness.
The one-day workshops are aimed to allow people to understand and take charge of their own mental health.
The workshop is for anyone and everyone.
Workshops are informal and relaxed. They are facilitated by people with both lived life experience of mental health difficulties, and people with experience of working in various mental health arenas. The day runs from 9.30am to 4.30pm and includes regular refreshments and a light lunch.
A comprehensive Wellness Workbook to support you in maintaining your daily wellness is also included.
There is no charge to attend a Wellness Workshop.
Currently, places are fully funded by the National Office of Suicide Prevention, the Iris O’Brien Foundation, donors and fundraisers, making our Wellness Workshops accessible to everyone.
A voluntary contribution from participants on the day is suggested, but this is by no means obligatory.
