Beauty and the Beast coming to Buncrana next year, with adult performers wanted now

Have you always dreamt of performing on stage before an audience? Adrian McMyler and the Inish Theatre Group want to hear from you.

The Inish Theatre Group says it’s “thrilled” to announce that registration is now open for adult performers (aged 16-plus) to take part in its spectacular new production.

‘Beauty and the Beast – Inish Theatre Style’ is set to enchant local audiences in spring 2026.

This exciting new staging of a classic promises to bring the beloved tale to life with a unique Inishowen twist, blending music, laughter, and heart, with the signature community spirit that Inish Theatre Group is renowned for.

“Beauty and the Beast is a timeless story that celebrates love, courage, and community,” explains Maureen Loughrey Tolley, Director of Inish Theatre Group.

“We are so excited to bring our own unique style and local talent together to create something truly magical.”

ITG’s Adrian McMyler is urging would-be stage performers to get on board without delay.

“It’s an exciting year ahead! Get registered now! Beauty and the Beast with a twist of Inish Theatre Group style! Our last two large productions were amazing sell-outs, with over 100 people in the cast last time, and you’re in for a treat with this one too.”

Maureen and Adrian said it’s a fantastic way to meet new friends and express yourself creatively.

“Everyone is so lovely, welcoming and fun. Inish Theatre Group is all about inclusion and equality; everyone gets treated like kings and queens!”

“We do our best to ensure anyone who wants a part, big or small, gets one. That’s what it’s all about: developing confidence and helping people shine,” they added.

With rehearsals set to begin later this year, Inish Theatre Group promises audiences an unforgettable journey into a world where enchantment meets local talent.
