One of Inishowen’s most popular and successful annual charity events has now raised more than €300,000 for local charities.
The Inish Tractor Run was first held in 2014 and in the eleven years since then, it has helped countless good causes with invaluable donations.
The yearly event, which is held on the Sunday of the June bank holiday, sees hundreds of tractors drive around the peninsula, while collectors gather generous sponsorship from local people and businesses.
The 2025 Inish Tractor Run was held in memory of Danny McColgan and it was another major success.
Almost €41,000 was raised this year alone, bringing the grand total raised since 2014 to an incredible €306,692.
This year’s beneficiaries were Friends of Inishowen Hospice Cancer Support Services (€11,678); Donegal Hospice (€11,678); BUMBLEance Children's Ambulance Service (€15,329); RNLI Malin Branch (€1,000) and Malin School (€1,000).

The organisers, who are already planning next year’s Inish Tractor Run, have congratulated all of this year’s prizewinners, including Susan Duffy, Aughaclay, Malin, who won the top prize of a vintage Ford Tractor.
Maybe Susan can lead next year’s charity parade of tractors in style!
