A vehicle nearly caused a collision after failing to see the no right turn sign at an east Donegal junction.

A white van was reported to have had a near miss at the bottom of the hill outside Carrigans this morning, around 7:45 am. The van was turned off the main road, right in the direction of the meat factory. However, there is a sign that states 100m ahead, there is no right turn.

“This morning's incident could have been very serious, causing damage to vehicles and injury and if that had been the case, it would have blocked the main road completely,” Carrigans, Killea & St Johnston Community Crime Alert posted.
