Inishowen Innovation is a digital innovation and co-working hub in Buncrana
Inishowen Innovation (the ii) has launched a survey to understand how local businesses are adapting to digital change – and where additional skills and technology support is needed.
Digital adoption took a “quantum leap” worldwide during the Covid-19 pandemic, as companies moved rapidly into online services, digital payments, remote work and automation – and Inishowen businesses were no exception. Since then, businesses have also faced the combined impacts of Brexit, supply chain disruptions, and rising costs – all of which continue to shape how companies operate and compete.

The survey takes just 10 to 12 minutes and will help improve supports for Inishowen businesses
The survey is open to businesses of all sizes and sectors across Inishowen. Responses will help the ii identify the most important training, services, and resources needed to support digital growth in local companies.
Maureen Cuddihy, director at Welditz, an Inishowen-based engineering company, said: “Covid-19 created the need for Inishowen businesses to adapt, pivot, or grow quickly. This survey is a timely opportunity to reflect on our progress, as well as our challenges and opportunities. Inishowen Innovation will use your feedback to find the 'sweet spot' for helping local businesses thrive.”
Inishowen Innovation plays a key role in connecting local companies with the technology expertise, skills training, and research supports available through regional, national, and European partners - helping ensure businesses in the peninsula can access the right supports at the right time.
