Buncrana Golf Club said the perpetrators who left two divot marks on one of their holes will be banned from their course.

The club posted photographs of the damage done to its fourth green as it issued its warning.

"Sadly, once again we have to bring to everyone's attention," they posted. "Some damage that has been caused to the course.
This time, the damage has taken place on the fourth green. Two large divots were taken out of the green, as can be seen in the pictures.


"We would just like to reiterate that anyone, be it a member or a visitor to the course, who is found responsible for this type of wanton action will have their membership suspended and will be banned from the course. Anyone with any information on this or any previous act of damage, we would be delighted to hear from you."
