Carndonagh library to host archaeological and medieval Ireland experts 

Archaeological and medieval Ireland experts Martin Enright and Joyce Raftery-Enright will be in Carndonagh library on Thursday, November 27.

The couple have been involved with archaeological excavation and the study of Early Medieval Ireland for over fifty years.

Martin has a particular interest in the Clonca High Cross and its place in the context of all the other early medieval crosses in Inishowen and beyond to Islay, Iona and several sites along Ireland’s west and north-western seaboard. 

All are welcome to attend this free event which takes place in Carndonagh library on November 27 from 6.30pm.
