This year's Inishowen Credit Union Schools Quiz is set to be one of the biggest ever, with up to 500 people expected to attend.
The countdown is on towards Inishowen’s biggest annual schools quiz, with hundreds of kids set to test their general knowledge over a range of topics on the night.
The 2026 edition of the Inishowen Credit Union Schools Quiz will take place at the Inishowen Gateway Hotel, Buncrana on Friday, February 6 at 7pm.
The quiz, which is open to all primary schools across Inishowen, has grown considerably in recent times, with last year being the biggest ever, with an incredible 43 teams taking part from 23 schools.

Schools may enter two teams, with Under-11 and Under-13 categories up for grabs.
First and second-place teams from each category will then go through from Inishowen to qualify for the Credit Union Chapter Level quiz at a later date.
Inishowen Credit Union is encouraging as many students and their families as possible to get involved and come along on the night, with up to 500 people expected to attend.
“It’s always a great night for everyone,” said an ICU spokesperson.
