Buncrana student achieves ‘significant milestone’ with Oireachtas work experience

A student at Crana College in Buncrana has spent a week in the Leinster House after taking part in the Oireachtas transition year  work experience programme.

Aoife O’Donnell  achieved what the school described as  “a significant milestone” after being selected for the highly competitive programme. She spent the week with the Oireachtas Education Office, where she gained firsthand insight into the inner workings of the Dáil.

“Her selection is a remarkable feat as she is one of only 25 students chosen nationwide to participate in the programme this year,” the school said.

“The school community has extended its massive congratulations to Aoife on this outstanding achievement.”
