Aoife O’Donnell with Donegal TD Pat ‘the Cope’ Gallagher during her week on the Oireachtas Transition Year work experience programme
A student at Crana College in Buncrana has spent a week in the Leinster House after taking part in the Oireachtas transition year work experience programme.
Aoife O’Donnell achieved what the school described as “a significant milestone” after being selected for the highly competitive programme. She spent the week with the Oireachtas Education Office, where she gained firsthand insight into the inner workings of the Dáil.

“Her selection is a remarkable feat as she is one of only 25 students chosen nationwide to participate in the programme this year,” the school said.
“The school community has extended its massive congratulations to Aoife on this outstanding achievement.”
