Could you be the next Maggie O'Farrell or Paul Lynch? Writers and poets from across Inishowen and beyond are invited to a special literary event in Greencastle next month.
The Greencastle Writers Group encourages wordsmiths to submit their work for an evening on Saturday, March 21, called ‘Words by the Water’, at Greencastle Community Centre.
The group welcomes all submissions.
“We encourage and support local writers, particularly people who are new to writing and reading their work,” explains one of the organisers, David Simpson.
“This will be our fifth evening,” David says. “Previous ones have been memorable evenings both for the writers reading their work in public, possibly for the first time, and for the audiences too.”

The closing date to have work considered for selection is Friday, March 6. For more information, the group can be contacted by email at: greencastlewritersgroup@gmail.com.
All welcome to come along.
