Volunteers are being asked to help with the annual Spring Clean in Carndonagh on Friday, April 3.
The Carndonagh Tidy Towns group is calling on local residents to lend a hand as preparations get underway for its annual Spring Clean next month.
The initiative aims to ensure the town is looking its best ahead of this year’s Tidy Towns competition, with organisers encouraging volunteers of all ages to get involved in the community effort.
The annual Spring Clean will take place on Good Friday April 3, with participants asked to gather at the Council Offices car park at 10.30am before setting out to tackle litter and tidy public areas around the town.
Volunteers are encouraged to wear a high-visibility top for safety and to bring along a litter picker and gloves if they have them. However, organisers have confirmed that equipment will also be available on the day for anyone who needs it.

Members of the public are also invited to highlight any particular areas around Carndonagh that may require attention as part of the clean-up effort.
Meanwhile, the Carn Tidy Towns Annual General Meeting will take place earlier in the week. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 1, at 7.30pm in McClure’s Bar, and the group is encouraging supporters and residents to attend as plans for the year ahead are discussed.
