Buncrana has turned blue to mark World Autism Month.
World Autism Month - also known as Autism Acceptance Month - takes place every year during the month of April. It is a global movement dedicated to raising awareness, promoting acceptance, and advocating for the inclusion of autistic individuals in all areas of society.

"You may have noticed a few changes around the town, with a number of iconic locations now lit up blue to mark World Autism Month," Cllr Jack Murray, Sinn Féin, posted.

"A huge thank you to our town gardener, George McDermott, who lights the Bun Cranncha sign each year, and to Ryan Stewart from the Christmas Lights Committee, who lit up the Courthouse and the tree at the library. That is what community is all about — people coming together to show support, raise awareness and stand in solidarity with everyone in our community."
