The talk in Buncrana on Monday, April 20 will provide practical advice on everything from managing polytunnels to caring for alpines.

Green fingers at the ready as the Swilly Gardening Club in Buncrana prepares to host its next gathering later this month, offering local enthusiasts a chance to pick up horticultural tips, and maybe even land a leafy prize.

The club’s upcoming meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 20 at 8pm, and will take place at the Buncrana Youth Club (Boy’s Club). Organisers say the evening promises to cater to gardeners of all experience levels, from complete beginners to seasoned growers.

Guest speaker for the night is Carol Towey, of Fahan’s Willowhill Garden Centre, who will share her expertise across a wide range of topics.

Attendees can expect practical advice on everything from managing polytunnels to caring for alpines, making it a useful session for anyone keen to get the most out of their garden this year.

As well as expert insights, there will also be a raffle on the night, with prizes including plants and other garden-related items, adding an extra bit of excitement for those in attendance.
