Buncrana Tidy Towns Initiative was awarded 369 points at the SuperValu TidyTowns awards, seven behind the overall winner Abbeyleix
Gardaí are investigating an incident of criminal damage where substantial damage was done to a car at Park Lane, Buncrana last week.
The incident took place between the hours of 00:55am and 1:15am on the morning of Friday, October 27.
“A car was parked at that location and substantial damage was caused to it between those times,” a Garda spokesperson said.
“Footprints were found on the car. Damage was caused to the passenger side front and rear door, passenger side wing mirror and quarter panel and the boot lid. We appeal to anybody who may have witnessed what occurred to make contact with Gardaí in Buncrana on 074-9320540. As always, we also appeal for dashcam footage from anybody who may have travelled in that area around that time.”
