The flowers were in planters in Moville’s Market Square

Two men who destroyed flower beds in Moville’s Market Square at the weekend have come forward following an appeal and paid for the damage caused.

Gardaí had appealed for information after receiving a report that two men, who were believed to have been intoxicated, caused damage to flower beds in the Market Square at around 9.15pm on Sunday. 

The Moville Tidy Towns committee has posted that the two young men who destroyed the flowers that were in planters in the Market Square “have owned up and paid for damages”.
