A man has been injured after an attack by a group on Buncrana’s Main Street at the weekend.
Gardaí are investigating a report of an assault at around 3.30am on Sunday. A man reported that he was standing outside a takeaway on Main Street when he was approached from behind by a group of males and females who proceeded to assault him. He sustained injuries, none of which are believed to be life-threatening in nature.

Gardaí are appealing to anybody who may have witnessed the incident to make contact with Buncrana garda station on 074 9320540. They are appealing to anybody who was in the area with a dash cam between 3am and 4am on that date to make the footage available.
