Lagoon temporarily closes following 'significant electrical fault' find
The Lagoon and Gracie’s Bar in Termon have announced a temporary closure following the discovery of a significant electrical fault.
The popular venue said the decision had been made on safety grounds while the issue is fully investigated and the necessary repairs are carried out.
Taking to their own social media accounts, The Lagoon explained that the safety of its customers and staff was its priority and that it would remain closed until it was safe to reopen.
“Unfortunately, following the discovery of a significant electrical fault at The Lagoon, we have made the difficult but necessary decision to temporarily close for safety reasons while the issue is fully investigated and resolved.
“We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and disappointment this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding”.
The venue said it was working to have the issue resolved as quickly as possible and would keep customers updated on its Facebook page.
