Letterkenny Chamber was delighted to meet with committee members of the Donegal Dublin Business Network (DDBN) in Dublin recently to advance a new strategic alliance aimed at driving investment and economic growth in Donegal.

Over the past number of months, both organisations have recognised their shared goals and the opportunity to work together. This new alliance represents a shared commitment to advancing the economic and strategic interests of the urban centre of Letterkenny and of the wider county of Donegal.

By combining efforts, they aim to unlock the full potential of Donegal and its business community so as to enhance its profile as a region in need of targeted investment.

Collectively they will work together in helping to position Donegal as a strategic economic driver, capable of attracting investment and supporting enterprise, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

The plan is also to developing collaborative events and initiatives aligned with the strategic objectives of both organisations that will serve to unlock business opportunities for members of the two organisations and to create greater awareness in Dublin of the employee and business opportunities that are available in Letterkenny and the wider county.

Chamber President Jimmy Stafford said: “This meeting marks the beginning of a significant alliance. Connecting with professionals and business leaders who share a passion for Donegal enables us to share our message more widely. The strength of the Donegal Diaspora is well known and making this alliance with DDBN has the potential to enable us to become more vocal on a wider stage and in doing so attract new opportunities.”

Garrett Harte, Chair of the DDBN said: “This new alliance represents a significant step forward in the shared mission to unlock the full economic potential of Donegal as a strategic hub for investment, enterprise and innovation. We’re looking forward to building on the relationship with Letterkenny Chamber and help use the influence of the DDBN to attract investment to Donegal while also creating new business opportunities for our members.”

Letterkenny Chamber would like to thank the Donegal Dublin Business Network for their support and engagement.
