A fundraising draw has raised a grand total of €104,222.33 for Drumoghill Chapel.
Drumoghill Chapel, located just outside Manorcunningham, has undergone restoration works for the past year. The draw was set up to help fund the project and has been boosted by the support of the local community.
Drumoghill Chapel Restoration Project shared: “Our fundraising draw raised an unbelievable total of €104,222.33, after all prize money was paid!
“We ran the draw at the Manor Resource Centre recently, and it marked the culmination of over 20 weeks of dedicated fundraising efforts. It was a wonderful community evening of music and craic, as eight lucky people won some amazing cash prizes.
“We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported the draw in any way. This includes those who bought and sold tickets, the premises, businesses, shows and events that kindly facilitated ticket sales, and the committed sales teams, whose tireless efforts helped make this campaign such a success.
"We would also like to thank all who made donations towards the draw, and to the draw sponsors: McNamee Building Services, MH Associates, Frank Morning Fitted Furniture LTD, Patrick Meehan Motolec and Colm Dillon Cars.
