Volunteers at Letterkenny's Conwal Hall
The organiser of a project that saw meals delivered on New Year’s Day to people living alone has thanked everyone for their assistance.
Kathy O’Connor spearheads the initiative annually on Christmas Day and again at New Year’s from Conwal Hall in Letterkenny.
“Well, that’s us for another year,” she posted. “We had a very successful Annual Christmas Day Dinner for people on their own. We delivered over 150 dinners. Many volunteers showed up to bring a little bit of happiness to those on their own and to deliver a dinner.”
