Donegal County Council will show their support for Little Angels School ahead of its involvement in the Special Olympics later this year.

Special Olympics Ireland will take place in Dublin from June 18 to 21. Little Angels School in Letterkenny will be represented, with seven participants from the school set to join the team from Ulster.

At the February meeting of Letterkenny-Milford Municipal District, 100% Redress Cllr Tomás Seán Devine pledged his support for Little Angels School. He asked the council to hold a day for the school to acknowledge what he called “a remarkable achievement for the school and its pupils”.

“It truly is a remarkable time for them and would mean a lot to the school as well,” Cllr Devine added.
