Karoline Sweeney is the newly-elected president of Letterkenny Chamber of Commerce.
Karoline will take the position for 2026/27, replacing the outgoing Jimmy Stafford.
"I'm here at the Letterkenny Chamber AGM 2026 and delighted to be nominated and elected as President of the Chamber this year," she said. "I'm really looking forward to representing our 337 members, which represents over 15,000 employees.

"Super-excited for the year ahead and very privileged and honoured to be nominated for this role. I look forward to working with all our members, and would like to take this opportunity to thank our board members and look forward to working with our new members, and hopefully I will see you all soon."
Letterkenny Chamber of Commerce posted: "Congratulations Karoline and the very best of luck in the year ahead".
Meanwhile, the Chamber announced the overall St Patrick's Day Parade Sponsor for Letterkenny is Phillips Medisize.
The Chamber added: "It’s community collaboration at its best, local businesses helping create a day for families, visitors and the entire town to enjoy."
